Ingredients
- 3 cups vine ripe tomatoes, finely diced
- 1/3 cup red onion, very finely diced
- 2 tbsps jalapeno pepper, very finely diced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsps olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsps cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
In a medium sized mixing bowl combine all ingredients and mix well. This recipe makes approximately 3.5 cups of salsa and will keep in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
Pair a spicy salsa with a crisp and refreshing off dry Riesling or Gewurztraminer.
