Tasting Notes
The grapes were harvested from our vineyards in eastern and western Canada. Subtle aromatics of green apple and vanilla integrate to create a fresh yet rich nose. On the palate, flavours of citrus and pear create a lively fruit profile balanced with the crisp clean acidity and supported by a long smooth finish.
Vineyard Notes
The summer was very hot and very dry, providing ideal growing conditions for grapevines. Sunny, warm days complemented by cool nights, allowed for great flavour development, making for an excellent year for red wine grape varieties in particular.
Production Notes
Grapes for this classic varietal were harvested in in the Niagara Peninsula and the Okanagan Valley. Fermented separately both wines were brought together and blended in Niagara.
Winemaker Notes
Our Pinot Grigio has lively fruit notes of peach, pear and citrus. This blend is light, fresh and fruity with a balanced acidity.
