Millesime is a sparkling wine company established by Frenchman Alain Girerd in Niagara. He saw Niagara’s potential as a wine producing region and developed his export business from France to service Canadian winemaker’s needs. We share in Alain’s vision that Ontario has the terroir to produce some of the world’s best traditional method sparkling wines.
The premier release of Millesime is a non vintage brut that displays all the complexity and elegance that one would expect from top level sparkling. It has been aged on lees for several years to develop a distinct nose of green apple, pear and just a hint of toast. The mouth feel is clean and fresh with lively acidity.
